Philanthropy is essential to advance research for a better treatment of diabetes. You have the opportunity to become a supporter of the work being undertaken at UCDR. 

It is increasingly difficult to maintain funding for young researchers, and it is thus crucial to generate a strong philanthropic support base from individuals, foundations and the private sector.  This will enable our Center to develop novel research projects, to purchase new equipment and, of particular importance, to recruit young scientists devoted to diabetes research.  

You have the opportunity to become a supporter of the work being undertaken at UCDR – your support will help the new generation of junior researchers become experienced scientists and may make a difference in the search of better treatments for diabetes, a severe, highly prevalent and debilitating disease.
